Beyond  Comprehension  and  Expression

When,

words  fade   into  inadvertence

and  the  space  around  me

transforms  into  silence

I  understand  the  vainness  of  words.

As  I stand  on  the  seashore

the  surging  waves  lash

at  my  nude  feet

bringing  forth

and  taking back

tiny  sea-shells

I  stare

at  the  azure  sky

replete  with  stars.

In  my  solitude

I  am  complete  and  full.

As  I  experience  this  bliss

of  pure  divine  love

I  am  at  peace  with  myself

the  silence  that  engulfs  me

is  beyond  and  above

comprehension  and  expression

of  words.

I  then  realise

the  eternal  beauty

of  ‘Silence’.

A  Tear  of  Gratitude

I  know

when  you  come

near  me,  very  close  to  me.

The  dividing  fine  line

between  the  form

and  the  formless

disappear.

the  air  becomes

pregnant  with  silence

words  lose

their  value  and  essence.

unfazed  and  unmoved

as  I  watch

the  lone  fresh  Rose  petal

at  my  feet

blown  by  the  cool  breeze

the   weave  and   the  waft

of  life

becomes  simple  and  uncomplicated.

At  the  very  moment

your  presence

is  sublime

yet  so  profound

as  my  heart

brims  with  emotions

there  is

a  tear  of  gratitude

in  my  eyes

dear  God.
