Hamari Aankhein, Dil o Nigah Tu

Khudi ka Khud Hi Hai Raasta Tu

Huwa Hun Tab Se Maen Laapata Sa

Pata Chal Jab Mera Pata Tu 

Sujood tujh ko, ae dil ke malik

Tu Kaa’ba Mera Sanam Khuda Tu

Laga Ke Daaman Pe Daagh e Ulfat

Kahan Chala Hai ae Paarsa Tu

Nahin hoon maen kuch siwae tere

Faqeer e Gham Ka Hai Aasra Tu

Hamara Kya hai Naeem, Hum Mein

Na jaane Nadaan, Na Samjha Kya Tu

Translation in English

My eyes, the heart and vision is You.

The path to selfdom by itself is You.

I have become lost, since the time,

When revealed, that my domicile is You.

Prostrations before you, O! The Owner of Heart,

O! My beloved, you are my Kaa’ba, my God is You.

Disheveling the taint of love on the hem,

Where have you gone, O! the pious, you?

Nothing I am, without You,

The shelter of this beggar of grief is You.

What is mine, in me, Naeem?

Don’t know, don’t understand, O! the ignorant you.
